Director of Development
Sarah graduated from Dickinson College in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in international business and management and received her MBA degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2012. In her previous role as associate director of development at Women In Government Foundation, Inc., a national, non-profit organization serving women state legislators, Sarah managed an extensive development portfolio including corporate, foundation and government partners. Her previous experience was as the legal development and recruiting coordinator for Kaye Scholer, LLP, an international law firm in Washington, DC. In this position, and through other positions in the Washington, DC area (including as assistant director of annual giving at Washington College of Law), she has had direct, hands-on experience in fundraising, event planning, volunteer management, corporate relations, recruitment processes, networking, legislative and public affairs.
