Assistant Director of Annual Giving
Matt Marvin received his bachelor's degree from Manchester College (UK) and a master’s in journalism from New York University. After founding a magazine for Americans living in Europe and working for the marketing agency that serviced top Olympic sponsors, Matt transitioned into higher education and worked for Pfeiffer University (Misenheimer, NC), the UNC School of Law and the UNC Health Sciences Library respectively. As part of his communications/PR role in all three institutions, he worked closely with the development office, in particular spending a lot of time planning and implementing annual giving campaigns. Matt is extremely excited about the next phase of his career at Kenan-Flagler, where he has the opportunity to focus his skills and experiences on raising critical unrestricted gifts for Kenan-Flagler. Matt, a naturalized American, and his wife, Kari, a 1990 UNC alumna and member of the track team, live in Chapel Hill with their three daughters—Madi, Megan and Tessa.
