Mission

To educate UNC Kenan-Flagler students on the role that sports & entertainment play in professional business and act as a resource for students interested in pursuing careers in these industries.

Leadership Team

Michael Tabb - President

Michael Tabb spent his formative years in Atlanta, GA, before attending the University of North Carolina and graduating in 2012 with a degree in business administration. Before returning to business school, he worked at Caleres (formerly Brown Shoe Company) in their Leadership Experience and Accelerated Development rotational program in St. Louis, MO and Seattle, WA. He previously interned with Legendary Entertainment on the film "42" and is completing a STAR project with Nike Golf. Michael is currently pursuing concentrations in consulting and marketing at UNC Kenan-Flagler.

Bo Stump - VP of Finance

Bo Stump is concentrating in corporate finance and consulting, and pursuing a career in the media industry. Before returning to business school, he worked at the William Morris Endeavor (WME) talent agency in Los Angeles, and as a financial analyst at the family firm Stump & Company. He graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2013 with degrees in History and Peace, War & Defense.

Mark Shorey - VP of Communications

Mark Shorey is pursuing a concentration in marketing and a career in brand management. Before returning to business school, Mark spent five years at Mullen Lowe, a full-service advertising agency located in Boston, MA. He graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, MA in 2010 with a degree in marketing.

Kelsey Odom - VP of Corporate Relations

Kelsey Odom graduated with honors from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and spent the past 7 years working in Washington, DC at a boutique political consulting firm. Kelsey is involved in the following Kenan-Flagler clubs and Committees: Sports & Entertainment VP of Corporate Sponsorship, Carolina Women in Business VP of Learning and Development, Business Technology VP of Alumni and Corporate Relations, Social Committee Liaison. Kelsey will be joining Goldman Sachs as a Summer Associate in the Investment Management division in their Atlanta office.

Peter Kelly - VP of Learning & Development

Peter is a first-year MBA candidate at UNC Kenan-Flagler. Before business school, he worked in consulting for four years at Ernst & Young with their Fraud Investigations & Dispute Services practice. Peter has also held internships with The First Tee of Greater Washington, D.C. and Wasserman Media Group. He graduated from the University of Richmond in 2011, majoring in accounting and finance.
