Leadership Team

John Dameron - President

DameronJohn Dameron, a native of Fredericksburg, VA currently serves as the President of the Real Estate Club. Prior to his matriculation to Kenan-Flagler Business School, John worked as an investment banker for Seale & Associates, Inc. in Washington, D.C. While at Seale, John participated in all aspects of M&A, recapitalizations, and strategic alternatives assessments, serving corporate clients across four continents. John earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Commerce with a concentrations in Finance and Information Technology from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. John is an active member of The Urban Land Institute, The Net Impact Club, and serves as an MBA ambassador. This summer John will be joining The JBG Companies in Washington, D.C. as a Development Associate.


Eric Leath - VP of Finance

LeathEric Leath is originally from Fuquay-Varina, NC and attended NC State University for his undergraduate studies. After college, he spent 4 years in Washington, DC doing legislative work in the US Senate for Senator Richard Burr. His interests outside of Real Estate, include agriculture, politics, golf, hunting, fishing, skiing and generally being in the outdoors. 


Mason Ellerbe- VP of Communications

EllerbeMason Ellerbe is originally from Charlotte, NC and graduated from Wofford College with a Bachelor's of Arts in Finance. Prior to coming to business school Mason worked for AAA Carolinas Insurance Company in Columbia, SC. This summer Mason will be working for Bank of America in an internal real estate role in Charlotte.​


Andrew Eckman- VP of Corporate Sponsorship

EckmanAndrew Eckman is a first year business school student. Originally from Vienna, Virginia, he graduated from the University of Virginia in 2008. Following five years in finance – three in banking and two in corporate finance – he is now studying real estate to pursue development professionally.


Tyler Jones- VP of Corporate Sponsorship

JonesTyler Jones is originally from Murfreesboro, TN. He attended Appalachian State University for undergrad where he studied anthropology and philosophy. After school, Tyler moved to Atlanta, GA where he worked at Southface Energy Institute, a green building nonprofit, managing a green building certification program. Under his leadership, the EarthCraft program certified more than 20,000 homes across the Southeast. Tyler also attended Georgia Institute of Technology where he received a Master of Science in Building Construction concentrating in Residential Construction Development. He is now on the Department Advisory Committee for the Building Construction Program. Tyler is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. In 2012 he graduated from the Atlanta chapter’s prestigious Center for Leadership program. This summer he will be working with at Holladay Properties in Nashville, TN.


Paige Boddie- VP of Learning & Development

BoddiePaige Boddie hails from Washington, D.C. and serves as Vice President of Learning & Development for the Real Estate Club. She has a breadth of real estate experience, including working as a Research Associate at Cushman & Wakefield and as a leasing broker at Cresa Washington, D.C. Inc. Paige earned a Bachelor’s of Arts from Williams College in Williamstown, MA. This summer she will be interning at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust located in Washington, D.C.
