Our mission is to provide MBA students with enhanced career opportunities in the high-technology industry by sponsoring experiential learning opportunities and networking/recruiting events, and by building UNC Kenan-Flagler’s reputation as a source of technology business leaders.
Dustin St. Jonn - President
Dustin is a native of the San Francisco, Bay Area which helped solidify his love of technology. After his undergrad, he worked as a financial planner for a private wealth management firm in Redwood Shores next to Oracle and EA Games. He went to UNC to attend his MBA in order to transition to a strategic role for Tech firms in the Bay Area or the Research Triangle. He is looking forward to preparing students for careers in technology, and helping UNC connect to the valley back home. His goal as president at BTC is to expand the presence of the BTC in e-commerce, digital entertainment, other corporate technology functions, and on the East Coast.
Veena Aiyer - VP of Corporate Relations- West Coast
Veena graduated from RGPV University with a BE Computer Science. Before MBA, she has five years of experience in Technology Consulting providing CRM Solutions to telecommunication and financial industries. Her goal as VP of Corporate Relations is to leverage my strong Friends and Family network to create strong ties with the west coast companies and work towards strengthening these engagements to help students interested in west coast companies gain insights and strategize their career advancement.
Siying Liu- VP of Corporate Relations- West Coast
Siying graduated from Tsinghua University with a BS Fundamental Sciences (Chemistry & Biology). Before MBA, she worked in Strategic Project Manager at Hua Yuan Science & Technology Association (HYSTA). Her goal as VP of Corporate Relations is to enhance the presence of UNC Kenan-Flagler in the west coast technology industry, build connections between west coast tech employers and UNC Kenan-Flagler, and oversees BTC’s West Coast Career Trek.
Elisa Lin - VP of Communications
Elisa graduated from Fisher College with a BS in Marketing. Before MBA, she worked as a brand manager at Pizza Hut. Her goal as VP of Communication is to communicate with the students effectively with useful message and maintain the multi-channel communication performance.
Sandeep Langoo - VP of Outreach
Sandeep graduated from University of Mumbai with Bachelor of Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Before attending graduate school, he was the Project Leader for Hewlett-Packard (India/Netherlands). He spent his summer as a Marketing/Demand Generation Dell, Inc. His goal as VP of Outreach is to foster new relations and further strengthen existing relations with Tar Heel alumni. Increase participation from the alumni in various school events and spearhead alumni-mentorship initiatives for the classes to come.
Roawin Luo - VP of Learning & Development
Roawin graduated from Shanghai Maritime University with a BE. Before MBA, she worked as an Asia Pacific Customer Solutions Supervisor at UPS. She spent her summer as a Pathways Operations Manager Intern at Amazon Corporate LLC. Her goal as VP of Learning Development is to support the development of Hi-Tech career opportunities by organizing sharing and education events for club members.
At UNC Kenan-Flagler, we train our students with technology backgrounds to explore deeper business issues behind adoption and use of technology in organizations. We also encourage students with diverse non-engineering backgrounds to consider how companies can leverage information technology to make their businesses more efficient and effective. UNC Kenan-Flagler faculty research on IT related issues has been published in premier journals and is consistently rated best-in-class internationally. Faculty members consistently strive to incorporate their cutting edge research into the classroom.
