Frequently Asked Questions

Questions Answers

Are children welcome at Reunion?

Yes.  Children are welcome at all of the Reunion events. Experienced care providers will be available on Saturday in the Kenan Dining Room.  We’ll have a bounce house, magician, face painters and an ice cream truck, as well as indoor activities such as movies and games, to keep kids of all ages happy.  You can see the Children’s Info page for more information.  Please indicate when you register how many children under 10 you will bring so we can keep an accurate count.

Where can I find a map of campus or driving directions?

Please visit our Directions and Parking page for maps and driving directions to Kenan-Flagler. If you’d like maps of UNC’s campus, please visit the UNC Visitor’s Center Web site.

Where can I park for Reunion?

During Friday’s activities, you can park in the Business School deck. For Saturday’s activities, please park in the Manning S-11 Lot located at the corner of Manning and Skipper Bowles Drive. There is no parking available on Saturday in the Business School Deck. Shuttles will be provided to and from the parking lot on Saturday. There is ample parking available at the DuBose House for the Brunch on Sunday. You can find more details about parking, directions, and shuttle service on the Reunion 2009 Directions and Parking Web page.

Will shuttles be provided?

On Saturday, shuttles will depart on Bowles Drive, in front of the Manning S-11 Lot, beginning at 7:30 a.m. and will run continuously to Kenan-Flagler Business School all day. Shuttles will also be available to and from Kenan Stadium and to and from Franklin Street for the Football Game Viewing Party.

Are there football tickets available?

We have a limited number of tickets available for the football game. Tickets are only available on a first-come, first-served basis to registered Reunion Weekend alumni and their guests. To purchase a ticket, alumni and all guests (except children under 10) must register for a Reunion package.

If you don’t get tickets, or if watching the game on the big screen is more your style, we hope you’ll join your fellow classmates at Spanky's on Franklin Street to cheer on the Tar Heels. Shuttles will be provided to and from Spanky's, and great food and drink will be provided.

How late can I register for Reunion?

You can register online for Reunion now.  Special early pricing is available until July 31st.  Online registration will end at 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 1.  Onsite registration will be available starting at noon on Friday.  If you miss online registration and want to attend Reunion, we will gladly help you register once you get to campus.

What should I expect in terms of food?

Our catering is again provided by The Catering Company. There will be more than enough food provided for you at Reunion – and no need to go out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner while you’re here. A wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also available throughout the weekend.

Will there be class pictures taken?

We will have a professional photographer on hand Friday and Saturday, and we encourage you to utilize his services.  We will point out the photographer during the formal programming on Saturday.  Please feel free to ask him to take any group photos you wish.  Photos will be available online after Reunion Weekend.
