About the Event
The 2012 Undergraduate Business Symposium will begin with breakfast and a presentation from the event's Keynote Speaker. Seniors will then split into two separate tracks until the Senior Networking Session.
- Track 1 – "The 1st 90 Days Seminars": Seniors in this track will attend a session that provides a detailed overview of how to be successful during the first few months "on the job." Seniors will then attend two breakout seminars where they will have the opportunity to ask questions about more specific professional development topics.
- Track 2 - "The Case Competition": Seniors in this track will work with their peers, as well as executives, on a challenging and through-provoking case study. Seniors will present their solutions to a panel of executives and receive feedback on their work.
To end their day, seniors will be given the chance to network with various executives and enjoy a professional lunch.
Pre-Symposium Networking Night
A networking session will take place the night before Symposium and provide selected students with an exclusive opportunity to interact with and listen to executives in a more intimate setting.
Roundtables
Roundtable sessions take place the night before Symposium and provide selected students with an exclusive opportunity to interact with and listen to executives from Symposium’s Platinum Company Sponsor, GE.
