About the Event
The 2012 Undergraduate Business Symposium will begin with breakfast and a presentation from the event's Keynote Speaker. Juniors will then have the opportunity to attend two different Workshops. The topics for these sessions are:
- Accounting
- Consulting
- Entrepreneurship
- Finance
- Investment Banking
- Marketing
- Operations
At these workshops, students will learn about the varying areas of business by interacting in small groups with respected executives who have experience in these fields. Juniors will then attend a Recruiter Panel to gain insight about what companies are looking for in job applicants. After breaking for lunch, juniors will then be given the chance to network with various executives.
Pre-Symposium Networking Night
A networking session will take place the night before Symposium and provide selected students with an exclusive opportunity to interact with and listen to executives in a more intimate setting.
Roundtables
Roundtable sessions take place the night before Symposium and provide selected students with an exclusive opportunity to interact with and listen to executives from Symposium’s Platinum Company Sponsor, GE.
