Grants and Scholarships
Undergraduate Business Merit Scholarships
The Undergraduate Business Program offers competitive merit scholarships for students applying to semester and summer study abroad programs. Awards typically range from $500-$2000. To apply, students need to submit a completed scholarship application form, resume, and cover letter detailing why you wish to be considered for a merit scholarship. Students should apply through the study abroad application website at the time that their program application is submitted. The deadline is the same as the study abroad application deadline, and incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Undergraduate Business programs in Asia are eligible for the prestigious Phillips Ambassador Scholarship award at UNC. Recipients receive up to $7500 for a semester study abroad program, and 25% of all award winners must be Undergraduate Business students. This innovative program encourages top students to study in Asia, with its particular significance to the global economy, and share their experience while they're abroad and on their return.
Additional UNC and Outside Scholarship Opportunities
The UNC Office of Distinguished Scholarships keeps a list of over twenty study abroad-related awards that are offered exclusively to UNC students or that UNC students have won in the past. Please see their Web site for more details.
