Through contacts with professors at other universities, the faculty works closely with students to identify and evaluate prospective positions. The director of the Ph.D. Program also maintains a file of universities, research institutions, and other organizations seeking persons with doctorates in business administration. To aid in the job search, the Kenan-Flagler Business School normally pays a substantial part of the cost for each student to attend a professional meeting in the year in which he or she seeks employment.
