Generate specific depth with concentrations
To further demonstrate your commitment to a particular field of study, you have the ability to concentrate in three different areas: Finance, Leadership, or Strategy (Entrepreneurship focus or Leadership focus). These concentrations showcase that you have gained a depth of knowledge in a certain area. The concentrations are noted on your transcript and may be included on your resume. Concentration courses account for six of the eleven electives. To earn a concentration, you will need to take Weekend electives with an additional charge of $800/course.

Cohort-based course structure
Unlike a part-time program, the Evening MBA uses the preferred lock-step format. Taking your courses with the same classmates over a 24-month program ensures that you establish networks that live beyond the classroom. In addition, you’ll have an opportunity to form deep relationships with study teams in both your core courses and electives. With a cohort based system, you’ll achieve both depth and breadth in a network that lasts beyond business school. This creates a highly engaged alumni group with dedicated networking activities.
The most advanced leadership curriculum
Leadership courses are integrated into the core curriculum, and additional leadership courses, assessments, and development opportunities are available. The leadership curriculum is specifically designed for mid- and senior-level executives with high potential careers. The curriculum will help you refine, improve, and strengthen your personal leadership style. You’ll also have the option to earn the prestigious UNC Kenan-Flagler Leadership Initiative designation.
