Weekend MBA Program Quick Facts

MBA Degree
Same degree as UNC’s traditional MBA

Program strength
Rigorous curriculum customized with at least 10 elective courses selected from more than 40 offered on evenings and weekends

Experience required
5 years minimum professional work experience, with 8 preferred

Program length
20 months, beginning January 2009

Class times
All day Friday and Saturday, twice a month, plus two immersion weeks (January and December, 2009)

Classroom facilities
Classes held at UNC’s Rizzo Conference Center, near campus, and the McColl building next to the Dean Smith Center. Overnight accommodates provided at Rizzo or a fine hotel.

Other benefits

  • Professional development: Leadership and communication skills courses and workshops are integrated into the core curriculum.
  • Career management: Support includes individual career coaching, workshops, alumni network, and online resources.
  • Electives after graduation: Additional electives are available to alumni for a nominal fee.

Cost
Cost is $79,800 for the Program beginning January 2009. Cost includes tuition, texts, socials, Friday night accommodations, and most meals.
