Evening MBA Program Schedule

We designed the Evening MBA schedule for working professionals who live close to UNC. It’s great for those who can’t miss workdays. It’s also a better fit for people who prefer the steady pace of attending class twice a week, leaving most weekends free.

Steady learning
Many students learn best at a steady pace with twice-a-week classes. Except for two immersion weekends and occasional Saturday workshops, your weekends will be free for family
or study.

Kick-off with immersion weekend
The Class of 2010 begins with a residential immersion weekend (August 8-10, 2008). You will begin coursework and get to know your study team. Your partner can join you Saturday evening through Sunday for special partner activities and social events.

  • Convenient: Core course classes are held Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 9:15 pm, with breaks for holidays.
  • Manageable: The core courses are arranged to so that exams are staggered. This makes managing study-time easier. In addition to classes, most students spend 12-20 hours a week in individual study or team meetings.
  • Flexible: During the last eight months, you will attend elective courses. You may choose electives taught during weekday evenings or join Weekend Program electives. You may also choose global immersions lasting 10 to 14 days. The Evening MBA Program ends with a second residential immersion weekend.
