You’re probably wondering, “How can I possibly
balance home, work, and b-school, too?” You
should consult the experts. Our students.

Balancing home life
Most of our executive MBA students have partners and children at home. They will tell you that family support is critical. Contact us and we’ll arrange for you to talk with a student who has family responsibilities similar to yours. They will give you the straight scoop on how they make it work. We encourage you to bring your partner to an information session to learn more.

Balancing work life
Earning your MBA while working can be a win-win for you and your employer. You gain a highly respected MBA and a professional network that will last your entire career. Your company wins as you apply your knowledge and skills on the job.

Your MBA education is an investment for you and your company. At minimum, executive MBA classes mean less time for long work days and business travel. This requires setting priorities and improving your organization and delegation skills. A well-crafted request for corporate support can show your management how your MBA will pay off.

Balancing school life
This is where UNC’s support really counts. If your school memories include bookstore lines, bad cafeteria food, and crummy dorms, don’t worry. The MBA for Executives Programs staff take care of the details.

You will find us responsive and accessible. You can reach faculty and staff outside of class time by email and phone.
