First-years Fill School Needs in Iraq
As a Marine embedded in an Iraqi army unit earlier this year, David Wang (MBA ’10) learned that school supplies can be instruments of peace. When he completed his Marine Corps commitment in June and enrolled at Kenan-Flagler, he recruited many of his new classmates to help send an arsenal of pencils, erasers, notebooks and chalk to aid redevelopment efforts in Iraq, beginning with school children.
