Re: How You Can Give Back to UNC Kenan-Flagler

Dear Alumni,

When the prospect of giving back to UNC Kenan-Flagler is mentioned, I am sure that the first thought that comes to many of you is actual gifts or pledges to support our programs. However, there are many other ways you can provide support through your time and efforts.

First of all, in this issue of UNC Business, you will find a message from Amy Farley, our alumni council chair. Amy asks for your input in helping us prioritize and act on important issues relating to all alumni. Having alumni as active partners in helping us shape the council’s agenda is key. Take advantage of the many events that are planned throughout the year for alumni. Make sure you frequently check the “Events” listing on our Online Community and attend these activities whenever you can.

I would also ask you to consider volunteering your services as an alumni club leader. We have clubs in 22 U.S. cities and eight international locations, and we can always use additional help to assist those clubs. If there isn’t an alumni club where you live, contact Alumni Affairs for more information on how you can get one started in your city.
