Tom Moser (BSBA '69), vice chairman of KPMG, was recently elected chairman of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) for 2001-'03. More than 1,000 colleges and universities now have SIFE teams on their campuses. SIFE works to create innovative projects within communities to inspire and educate children about entrepreneurs and free enterprise.

Jay N. Strong (MBA '76) has been appointed president of the Asahi Glass Company's (AGC) Global Automotive Strategic Business Unit. Headquartered in Tokyo, AGC is the largest supplier of automotive glass in the world. He was formerly president of AP Technoglass.

James Martin Daugherty (MBA '80) is included in this year's list of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Emerging 30. His consulting firm, James M. Daugherty CPA, is recognized as one of that area's 30 fastest growing companies, with sales exceeding $250,000.

Brent Callinicos (BSBA '87, MBA '89) was promoted to corporate vice president at Microsoft Corporation in July 2001. He has been corporate treasurer since March 2000, having joined the corporation in December 1992. In addition, he has been appointed to the Governor's Council of Economic Advisors for the State of Washington.

Gary Gambrell (MBA '89) has been promoted to vice president, marketing, of Louisville Community Development Bank. The bank's mission is to improve the quality of inner-city life by creating jobs and building businesses.
