Networking and New Initiatives
Spring receptions and clubs strengthen ties between School and alumni
his past spring, more than 900 Kenan-Flagler alumni gathered in nine cities for alumni receptions. In Boston, New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles and San Diego, alumni had time to catch up with former classmates and informally network. At each venue, representatives of the School talked about new initiatives designed to benefit alumni - from the Alumni Career Services program to a revitalized club structure.
Alumni gather at a Triangle-area reception at The DuBose House. The 1933 Georgian Revival house is the dining and social center at Kenan-Flagler's Paul J. Rizzo Conference Center at Meadowmont.

In California, three new alumni clubs have formed, covering Palo Alto, Orange County and San Diego. These new clubs join with existing networks in San Francisco and Los Angeles to create a system that serves the nearly 800 Kenan-Flagler alumni currently residing in California.
In addition to the five California clubs, clubs are currently in place in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Central New Jersey, Chapel Hill, Charlotte, Chicago, Durham, Houston, London, Mexico City, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Raleigh and Washington, D.C.
