Multi-channel environment is focus of retail conference April 12
The multi-channel retail environment will be the focus of the second annual UNC Retail Conference April 12 at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Organized by UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Retail Club, the conference will feature keynote addresses by:
- Tim Belk (MBA ’81), chairman and chief executive officer of Belk, Inc.
- Jim Donald, CEO of Extended Stay Hotels and former CEO of Starbucks
Panel discussions will address customer experience, e-commerce, finance, luxury, logistics and pricing.
The North Carolina Retail Merchants Association will host the conference luncheon during which it will present its Retailer of the Year Awards and Lori Duncan, Lowe’s director of consumer marketing, will speak.
