The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Frank Hawkins Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise is hosting a workshop on doing business in Africa.
“Africa: The New Business Frontier,” is designed for anyone interested in entering and competing in African markets. It is part of the institute’s Business Across Borders Summit, co-hosted with the UNC Center for International Business Education and Research and UNC Kenan-Flagler Africa Business Alliance.
The workshop kicks off with a keynote address by Biju Mohandas, East Africa director for Acumen Fund, on Thursday, Nov. 3, 5:30 p.m. at the Kenan Center Dining Room on the UNC campus.
The workshop Friday, Nov. 4, 8:30-4 p.m., at The Friday Center in Chapel Hill will feature two keynote addresses and four panel discussions on critical tactical topics, all led by business people with extensive experience conducting business in African markets.
The cost is $10 for students from any school, $20 early-bird rate for others through Friday, Oct. 14 and $30 after Oct. 14 until seats fills.
