Peter joined UNC Kenan-Flagler in 2008 as the assistant director of Leadership Development. Before joining UNC Kenan-Flagler, Peter had been an Associate Director with the Career Management Center at Duke's Fuqua School of Business where he developed and directed the design and delivery of all career services for their Executive MBA Programs. He developed an intensive assessment and feedback process, which included a unique tool, The Visual Autobiography.

Peter was a Senior Program Associate with the Center for Creative Leadership, Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness for a diversified $100 million company and was a Principal in consulting firms based in Canada and the US, focused on assessment, training, executive coaching and consultation. He introduced a multi-level leadership development model, as a consultant for the Great Place to Work, for an organization that became #1 on Fortune's 100 Best Companies.

Peter lived and worked in Toronto for over 20 years where he held clinical and counseling positions, which he leveraged in his consulting work with PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG. He was an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Western Ontario. Peter earned a PhD in counseling psychology and a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Miami, and an MBA and BA in economics from St. John’s University. He is a licensed psychologist.
