Performance Monitoring and Alarm Management for FAA Power Systems

CLDS is developing a multi-agent system for intelligent monitoring and predictive control of power systems for the government and commercial organizations. CLDS is assessing the performance of real-time learning in recognizing patterns or sequences of indicators for improved alarm management in the event of impending system failures. A decision tool will use associative memory for "recommending" or "acting" on perceived patterns based on previously learned responses or actions to prevent system failure. In an effort to design more complete and fully simulated power architectures, associative memory technology is being integrated into the transient stability simulations to improve system design.
