I came to Kenan-Flagler from Washington DC, where I worked as an environmental systems consultant. I chose Kenan-Flagler primarily for the strong sustainable enterprise focus, but I was also drawn here because of the sustainability and emerging markets work going on at the Kenan Institute. Through the Kenan Institute Asia I was able to spend two months this past summer interning in Bangkok, Thailand, working on regional trade development. I became a Kenan Liaison because I feel that the Kenan Institute is a resource that is sorely underutilized by most students. We are now undertaking several initiatives to deepen the relationship between the Kenan Institute and Kenan-Flagler, and to engage more MBA students in the exciting work going on next door. Working with the Kenan Institute has been an incredibly rewarding experience, every day I am exposed to new ideas and experts from across the globe. Just check out the Kenan web site for all of the amazing projects and student opportunities currently available!
