International MBA students earn a UNC MBA degree
As a international MBA student, you will earn the same degree as graduates of UNC's traditional MBA Program. Plus, you will earn the OneMBA issued by the five OneMBA partner schools. OneMBA's international MBA curriculum is more concentrated than the traditional MBA, with emphasis on international management. Our students will tell you this is no "MBA-lite."

Convenient schedule allows for international business travel
International MBA classes are held once a month on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for 21 months. There are also four international residencies held in North America (Washington D.C.), Europe, Latin America (Mexico and Brazil), and Asia. Each international MBA residency lasts seven days.

Easy Commute to D.C.
Most UNC OneMBA weekends are held near Washington D.C., close to Dulles International Airport. Some weekends are in Chapel Hill. International MBA classes starts at 9:30, giving most students time for a Friday morning commute. They return home on Sunday after class ends at 3:00 pm.

Lifelong network
You will network with international managers living and working on four continents. Each international MBA class has about 100 students from five partner universities, of which about 35 are from UNC. Most UNC international MBA students are in their mid-30s with 13 years work experience. (At least seven years is required, with ten preferred.) You will also have access to hundreds of OneMBA international MBA alumni living and working around the world.
