Returning participants: You are required to register only once. Go directly to http://kfbs.sona-systems.com/ and log-in to the system.
First time participants
Please be sure to read your responsibilities & rights as a research participant. This sets out our social contract for your participation in our studies.
If you are interested in participating in Behavioral Lab studies and other research, you need to create a profile for yourself on our participant sign-up website:
- Go to http://kfbs.sona-systems.com/ and click on "New Participant? Request an account here."
- Enter all information requested (Make sure to enter a valid e-mail address that you check regularly) and click "Request Account."
- You will receive an e-mail with your user name and password for the system.
- Visit http://kfbs.sona-systems.com/ and enter your new user name and password.
- Click on "Start Pretest," answer the initial questions, and click on "Save Pretest."
- Answer all questions to proceed.
- Information is for background information only and will not be matched with your name or with your PID.
- Under "Study Sign-Up," click on "browse a list of studies and sign up for those that interest you."
- Click on the name of a study, and then click on "View Time Slots for This Study." You will then see a list of time slots and room numbers in which the study is taking place. When you find a time slot that works for you, click Sign Up.
