Gary Clinton is a faculty advisor and client recruiter with the Global Business Projects and STAR action-based learning programs at UNC Kenan-Flagler.
He is an executive coach for MBA and Undergraduate Business students.
Mr. Clinton spent 39 years working with Citigroup Inc. in various senior management positions. He retired as managing director and Asia Pacific region head for Citigroup’s global relationship banking business in 2008.
In Asia, he was active in the American Chamber of Commerce, serving in committee chair and board positions in Hong Kong and Korea. He served as chairman of AmCham Hong Kong in 2007.
Through his company GLC Consulting, Mr. Clinton consults with start-up companies that want to enter or expand in Asia.
In Chapel Hill, he is a member of the Governors Club Speakers Group, where he speaks on topics relating the U.S. dollar’s role in a global economy. He served on the UNC CIBER Advisory Board at UNC Kenan-Flagler.
He earned his MBA from Pace University and his BSBA from the University of Delaware.
