Kevin Hill studies how people come to define, and thereby experience, their work and work environments. His research primarily involves the dynamics surrounding dysfunctional conflict patterns in teams as well as team knowledge integration.
In addition, he studies how non-job work experiences—such as community volunteering—influence employees’ job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
An award-winning teacher, Dr. Hill excels in the delivery of skills-based courses, particularly modules focused on negotiations and team dynamics.
He has worked in both the educational and non-profit sectors, including teaching for a year in Zhejiang, China.
Dr. Hill received his PhD in organizational behavior and human resource management from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, his master’s of science degree in administration from Concordia University, and his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of New Brunswick.
