The research and teaching interests of Amin Sayedi are Internet advertising, sponsored search auctions, marketing and the economics of social networks and online markets.
Dr. Sayedi has worked at Microsoft Research on advertising models for social networks and and at Yahoo! Research on online advertising and sponsored-search auctions. He is the co-inventor of two patents for “Expressive Bidding” in Online Advertising Auctions.
He received his PhD and MS in industrial administration from the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, and a bachelor of engineering in computer engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
