Chip Snively teaches courses in corporate finance, investments, project management and applied investment management.
He is the coordinator of the Investment Management Concentration in the Undergraduate Business Program.
Professor Snively joined UNC Kenan-Flagler from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he was the co-director of the MBA program's Investment Management Academy, an applied investment management concentration/curriculum. He taught courses in the MBA (residential and online) and undergraduate programs, as well as a co-operative graduate program in Zagreb, Croatia.
He worked for Intel Corporation in various senior financial management roles, including running manufacturing facilities in Malaysia, China and Puerto Rico, and a strategic planning group in Arizona. Additionally, he has corporate finance experience with American Airlines, and asset management experience with Liberty National Bank & Trust Company.
He received his MBA in finance/international business from Indiana's Kelley School of Business and an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Kentucky. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
