LOGTECH - Program for Executives in Logistics and Technology

  • 2016 Dates:      June 5-9 and September 11-15

    2016 Tuition:   $9,000.00*

    The Program for Executives in Logistics and Technology is a four-day executive development program focused on strategic considerations from the senior executive perspective and is designed for Flag level military officers, Senior Executive Service (SES) civilians, and CEO/Senior Vice President-level corporate executives. The Executive Program is administered by the Institute for Defense and Business (IDB) LOGTECH Center of Excellence in Logistics & Technology and delivered in partnership with the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

    * Tuition is $9,000 per participant. The tuition includes instruction, instructional materials, lodging, and meals.

  • The Executive Program is designed for experienced logistics leaders who set the strategic direction and vision for their respective organizations as well as those who deal with complex logistics and organizational transformation. Participants may include military flag officers (O-6 by exception), Senior Executive Service civilians, and their private sector counterparts. This course typically numbers 20 participants from DoD, DoD agencies, joint commands, and the military services, five from DHS, as well as seven from the private sector.

  • This four-day program gives participants the opportunity to explore leading-edge supply-chain, logistics, and organizational management concepts. They can test their ideas against peers and leaders in the military, business, and academe; challenge assumptions; and leave with a better understanding of the future of logistics and technology. The program involves intensive discussions, lectures, case study analysis, and interaction between military logistics leadership and recognized civilian and academic logistics innovators. Participants leave the LOGTECH programs energized and enabled to make real and positive improvements in their organizations and profession.

  • The Program for Executives in Logistics and Technology is held at the Rizzo Conference Center, our world-class facility in Chapel Hill, N.C.  The Rizzo Conference Center is designed to foster executive leadership and development and is wired for business so that we can integrate new technologies that facilitate the learning process into our teaching methodologies.
