  • The UNC Treasury Management Program is an exceptional professional development opportunity for treasury practitioners.

Foundations in Treasury Management is for those who are new to the field, individuals whose responsibilities include treasury or cash management, and those who have general knowledge of financial principles.  A background in treasury management is not necessary.

Strategic Issues for Treasury is for more seasoned professionals or financial executives with significant experience in treasury or cash management practices and who are familiar with the field's practices and basic tools.

Both emphasize the core mission of corporate treasury departments - to maximize corporate liquidity and mitigate financial risk.  The programs also go well beyond to examine the treasury function within the context of critical, contemporary challenges.

Besides classroom training, there will be a social and cocktail reception Sunday evening to get acquainted with fellow participants and meet some of the instructors;  a networking dinner Monday night; working breakfasts Tuesday and Wednesday mornings; and an interactive discussion session for both tracks on Tuesday afternoon.
