Leading with Purpose
UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and Fortune are partnering to offer new online programs for business leaders beginning fall 2017.
The programs will offer a valuable blend of expertise and access for busy executives who are eager to develop their business expertise and need the flexibility of online learning.
Programs will be designed for both emerging and mid-level business leaders by UNC Executive Development and will be taught by UNC Kenan-Flagler professors.
- Executive: Leaders in this group include high-performing middle to senior management executives on track to becoming a general manager in their organization. They are able to manage and align multiple stakeholders at different levels and work across functions. They have the ability to get things done by implementing decisions and initiatives within a broader organizational context.
- Emerging: Professionals currently serving in an initial leadership role, or anticipating leadership responsibilities in the future. They adopt the culture of the organization and help accomplish organizational goals and objectives via the established strategy and vision.
Fortune, which creates powerful content and experiences across many platforms, will share and produce video content, including interviews with Fortune 500 executives.
Executives who successfully complete the programs, which are the first of their kind for Fortune and UNC Kenan-Flagler, will have the opportunity to earn certificates from the Business School.
The first certificate program is entitled “Leading With Purpose.”
