Dan McGurrin

Dan McGurrin is Program Director for Executive Development. He has worked in executive development for 13 years, having managed executive programs at Boston University’s School of Management and Kelley Executive Partners at Indiana University prior to joining UNC in 2003. His current client relationships include Eastman Chemical, ExxonMobil, Alcatel-Lucent, PRA, Sony Ericsson, Syngenta, and others. His programs range from local executive development to global delivery of organization-wide leadership programs. Topics include project leadership, virtual team management, matrix teams, and managing global enterprises. His current research is in addressing the demographic shift in organizations and managing generational differences in the workforce. Dan previously worked for GlaxoWellcome (now GlaxoSmithKline) in marketing research, and has held international positions in Hungary, Slovenia, and Russia. He also was a board member with the International University Consortium for Executive Education (UNICON), and has held memberships in the Academy of Management and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Dan received an MBA from Indiana University in International Marketing.
