Entrepreneurship Lab (ELab)
Entrepreneur’s Lab (ELab) is designed to prepare students with the insights to become a successful founder, funder or growth executive. Specifically, we explore the leadership challenges faced by entrepreneurs at all phases of new and growing ventures. The ELab course is designed around three learning objectives: Grand Challenges will engage outside international thought-leaders to learn a comprehensive understanding of the entrepreneurship megatrends; Entrepreneurial Learning and Success Factors will involve inviting Kenan-Flagler founders to share their perspectives on the key insights on the founder’s path to entrepreneurship including major milestones and setbacks; and Problem-Solving will break the ELab into small groups and work on solutions to real problems in partnership with faculty, alumni, and the Adams Advisors to integrate learning, understand trade-offs associated with various strategy choices, and awareness of the challenges associated with decision making with information that is incomplete or ambiguous.
