Erika Berg- President
Internship- Proctor and Gamble

Erika BergErika Berg has a background in aerospace engineering and spent five years prior to KFBS at The Boeing Company, designing airplanes and creating marketing materials for the new 777X. She will spend her summer as a marketing intern at Procter & Gamble on the Vidal Sassoon brand. Erika was raised in southern California and hopes to return to the golden coast some day.


Mike Ziegler- VP of Marketing & Communications
Internship- National Parks Service

Mike ZieglerMike Ziegler is originally from Washington state, and has spent the past decade in Seattle studying at the University of Washington and then consulting for Accenture. After graduating from KFBS, Mike hopes to be a brand or product manager in the outdoor consumer goods industry. In his free time Mike enjoys cooking, hunting, fishing, and snowboarding.


Brianne Abramowicz- VP of Career Treks
Internship- DuPont Market Leadership Development Program

Brie AbramowiccFollowing graduation from the University of Delaware, Brianne spent four months working as a consultant for an agriculture start-up in Mexico. She then worked for six years as a financial analyst for Bank of America wherein she gained a breadth of experience in post-merger integration, project management, and marketing strategy development. Brianne is passionate about the intersection of food and business. She returned for her MBA to find a position within a company that is pioneering innovations in supply and value chain systems.


Wally Sedgewick- VP of Finance


Wally attended Colby College where he studied economics and mathematics. After graduating, he joined IXI Corp, a data analytics firm in Northern Virginia, as a client service associate. There he had the opportunity to wear a variety of hats from finance to product development. After the sale of IXI to Equifax, Wally founded a nonprofit to support other nonprofits interested in investing in sustainable technologies. He is looking forward to using the skills gained at Kenan-Flagler to join a start-up. Also, a classmate, Kevin Ismaili, recently declared Wally to be the most attractive guy in the Kenan-Flagler Class of 2015.


Tom Burst- VP of Corporate Relations

Tom Burst

Tom Burst is currently a first year MBA student at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School. Prior to business school he lived in Baltimore, MD and worked in the aerospace & defense industry for both Northrop Grumman Corporation and Booz Allen Hamilton, specializing in the system integration and test of radar systems. He graduated The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s of Science majoring in electrical engineering.


Jeff Heriod- VP of Learning & Development

HenriodAfter graduating from the University of Utah, Jeff joined Teach for America and taught 8th grade in Memphis for two years.  While teaching, he started a curriculum resource startup, ReadNimble, and worked with an 4.0 Schools, an educational technology accelerator in New Orleans.  Jeff is passionate about entrepreneurship and has been very involved in both UNC’s as well as the Triangle’s startup communities this school year.  After business school  he hopes to join an educational technology company.
