UNC Kenan-Flagler Pride Club strives to enrich the experience and culture for LGBTQ students enrolled at UNC Kenan-Flagler and to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.

Leadership Team

Tim Smith - President

smithTim graduated from the University of Virginia in 2010, at which point he moved to DC to become a tax accountant, first at Baker Tilly, then at Leidos. While in DC he participated in the most DC events, such as brunch, multiple LGBT sports leagues, and the Post Hunt. Tim is now pursuing concentrations in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship to leverage his tax background into a more exciting and fulfilling career starting with an internship at Thomson Reuters. At UNC Kenan-Flagler, Tim is involved formally in the Corporate Finance Club, Kenan-Flagler Pride Club, Brunch Club and Tennis Club, and informally in Wine Wednesdays.

Gad Eidels - VP of Finance

Gad was born and raised in Mexico City and studied hospitality management in Switzerland. He transferred to Kendall College in Chicago for his last year of undergraduate studies and worked at a hotel for 3 years after graduating. He spent the following 2 years working at Groupon with a POS system for restaurants before starting his MBA at UNC Kenan-Flagler. He is currently concentrating in Operations Management and Corporate Sustainability. At UNC Kenan-Flagler, Gad is involved in the Kenan-Flagler Pride Club, the Net Impact Club and the Operations Club. He loves traveling, trying different types of food and enjoying all of the outdoor activities that North Carolina has to offer.

Mitchell Dudas - VP of Communications

Mitchell Dudas was raised in Charlotte, NC. He attended NYU with an undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance, and then went on to live and perform in NYC. Having immersed himself in a number of opportunities in New York, including teaching Flying Trapeze and becoming an NASM personal trainer, he is excited to bring new opportunities to the many activity clubs at UNC Kenan-Flagler. His hobbies outside of school and circus include; knitting, motorcycle riding, baking, and shotgun shooting.

Graham Clinton - VP of Learning & Development‚Äč

Originally from South Dakota, Graham is a transplant to the forests of North Carolina. Previously, Graham studied Environmental Science at Colorado College. His career has focused on energy and technology and he is now pivoting to a financial role at finance technology firm. In high school, college, and his personal life, Graham has been heavily involved in LGBTQ advocacy and he's excited to continue this at UNC Kenan-Flagler.

Lauren Reed - VP of Ally Engagement

Lauren earned her undergraduate degree in Journalism (Advertising) and Studio Art (Photography) at UNC Chapel Hill. As an aspiring triple Tar Heel, Lauren is glad she had the opportunity to return to UNC to pursue a dual JD/MBA degree. Prior to graduate school, she spent four years working in marketing for Xerox in Washington, DC. specializing in writing and managing technology proposals for state and local government in the public assistance, Medicaid, and transportation spaces. Lauren has a passion for travel, film photography, and volunteer roles related to children’s welfare and LGBT equality. After graduation, Lauren hopes to pursue a career in management consulting with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.

Stephanie Graham - VP of Corporate Relations

Stephanie was born and raised in Massachusetts and attended Wellesley College, earning a B.A. in Women's and Gender Studies and Psychology. After interning with the FDIC throughout her college career, she returned to Washington, DC to work for various trade associations in Political Affairs. Additionally, she joined an activist group in DC called "Black Youth Project 100". She has continued her work with the organization's Durham Chapter after moving to Chapel Hill to attend UNC Kenan-Flagler. At UNC Kenan-Flagler she is a Consortium Fellow and has been an active member in the Carolina Women in Business club, Finance VP for the Alliance of Minority Business Students, and will be traveling to East Asia in May 2016 as part of UNC Kenan-Flagler's Global Immersion Elective program.

Diego Horowitz - VP of International Solidarity

Diego Angarita Horowitz is concentrating in consulting. Prior to business school he worked for a renewable energy cooperative in Massachusetts doing marketing management and business development for biodiesel, energy efficiency and solar energy products. He received his undergraduate degree from Hampshire College in 2008 with a concentration in Nutrition and Latin American Studies.

Jonathan Huffman - VP of Fundraising

Jonathan is a futurist with a passion for creative problem solving. He did his undergraduate studies at Huntington University, graduating in 2010 with a double B.A. in English and Theater Performance, then moving to South Korea to teach English for two and a half years. In 2013, he moved back to the USA to found Blue Shoe Games in 2013, a company that invented, designed, and manufactured card games from his apartment in Raleigh. Jonathan enjoys envisioning ways the world could be different, and working to turn those ideas into reality, and it is this drive that informs his efforts in Pride, and also his career aspirations as a management consultant or an entrepreneur.
