The MBA Ambassadors provides prospective students with a link to current UNC Kenan-Flagler MBAs. Students work directly for the Admissions Office to support their mission of bringing the best and brightest to UNC Kenan-Flagler.
Danielle Moita-Robles - President
Danielle Moita-Robles grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and completed her undergraduate degree at Winthrop University. Danielle is a registered dietitian and she holds a master’s degree in health from University of West Florida. Prior to Kenan-Flagler, Danielle worked for the Women, Infants, and Children Program in the State of New Jersey serving underprivileged populations at nutritional risk. In her free time, Danielle enjoys playing tennis, cycling, and spending time with her family. Danielle will be joining Pfizer as a marketing intern for her summer internship.
David Holt - VP of US Market Outreach
David is pursuing a career in energy, He comes to Kenan-Flagler after 9 years in the U.S. Army. As an undergrad, David attended the University of Georgia where he obtained a BA in International Relations.
Gowtam Atthipalli - VP of International Market Outreach
Gowtam Atthipalli is pursuing a concentration and a career in management consulting. Prior to starting business school at Kenan-Flagler Business School, he worked for tech firms in the Silicon Valley in the areas of nanoscale process control, internal strategy, and operations. He holds a PhD in Materials Science (Physics) from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India.
Carson Pfeifer - VP of Special Events
Carson Pfeifer is originally from Louisville, KY. He graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South with a B.S. in Natural Resources and the Environment and a minor in Classical Studies. Prior to Kenan-Flagler, Carson worked for a non-profit advocacy group in Washington, DC advocating on a range of federal policy issues with a primary focus on energy and climate change policy. Carson is passionate about the energy industry, and is pursuing concentrations in Corporate Finance and Energy.
Blake Krienke - VP of Incoming Student Experience
Blake is originally from Austin, TX. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Chinese Language and Culture. Prior to attending UNC Kenan-Flagler, Blake worked in industry finance as part of the Finance Rotation Program at Fannie Mae in Washington, DC. Blake is pursuing the Corporate Finance and Energy concentrations at Kenan-Flagler. For his summer internship, Blake will be working in Houston, TX as a Summer Associate at Wells Fargo Securities in their Energy Investment Banking Group.
Anita Kannan - VP of Digital Marketing
Anita Kannan is from Mumbai, India. She graduated from the University of Mumbai and is also a Chartered Accountant from India (similar to a CPA degree in the US). Prior to business school, she worked for EY and the Essar Group in Mergers and Acquisition. In Kenan-Flagler, she is pursuing a concentration in Management Consulting and Corporate Finance. For her summer internship, Anita is headed to Deloitte Consulting. During her free time, Anita likes to practice yoga, travel, and try new cuisines.
Dhawal Vora - VP of Internal Operations
Dhawal is a Chartered Accoutant (Indian equivalent of CPA) and lawyer from India. Prior to business school, he was based out of Mumbai and worked with the Financial Services team at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is pursuing a concentration in Management Consulting and Corporate Finance. During his free time, he likes hiking and reading fiction.
Gabrielle LaForce - VP of Internal Operations
Gabrielle LaForce is pursuing a concentration and a career in operations management. Before returning to her hometown of Chapel Hill, she worked in sales operations for banking and telecommunication products at Gemalto in Austin, TX. She graduated from Lehigh University in 2012 with a BS in Supply Chain & Operations Management.
Since MBA Ambassadors directly work for Admissions Office, students can make impact on shaping incoming MBA classes. Throughout the activities, students also have opportunities to strengthen communication skills, network with classmates and enhance leadership skills.
