Our mission is to provide Kenan-Flagler MBA students with educational, networking, and developmental resources so that they may pursue and be successful in both formal and informal general management programs.

Leadership Team

Asia LedesmaAisa Ledesma - President

Aisa grew up in San Jose, CA, and has lived in the northern Virginia area for the last decade. She received her degree from the college of business at Virginia Tech majoring in Finance. Following school, she worked with Microsoft supporting their U.S. Government Affairs team as a project coordinator. At Kenan Flagler, she is pursuing concentrations in Operations and Marketing, with an enrichment in Sustainable Enterprise. She will be joining IBM this summer as part of their Exteme Blue intern program. Her interests include cooking (and eating) new foods, travel, and sports.

Anita KannanAnita Kannan - Executive Vice President

Anita Kannan is from Mumbai, India. She graduated from the University of Mumbai and is also a Chartered Accountant from India (similar to a CPA degree in the US). Prior to business school, she worked for EY and the Essar Group in Mergers and Acquisition. In Kenan-Flagler, she is pursuing a concentration in Management Consulting and Corporate Finance. For her summer internship, Anita is headed to Deloitte Consulting. During her free time, Anita likes to practice yoga, travel, and try new cuisines.

Timothy CollamoreTim Collamore - VP of Finance

Tim grew up in Denver, CO and studied Business at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. He spent the last six years working for a biotechnology startup in Denver serving in a number of roles, predominantly in systems management and finance. He is concentrating in Corporate Finance and Healthcare, and will be interning this summer in Amgen's Finance & Strategy Leadership Development Program. In his free time, he loves to play basketball, golf, and music.

Cody HillCody Hill - VP of Corporate Relations

Cody is originally from northern Virginia and studied Public Policy and Hispanic Studies at The College of William & Mary. After college he lived in Merida and Valencia, Spain for two years teaching high school English. He moved to Washington DC and worked in digital sales for three years for a well-funded start up company in the travel industry. Prior to business school he worked for a small consulting firm specializing in Hispanic and Multicultural consumer consulting. He'll be interning in Seattle in Amazon's Retail Leadership Development Program. He enjoys cycling, cooking, basketball, and singing karaoke.

Sambhav JainSambhav Jain - VP of Communications

Sambhav is from New Delhi, India. He is an electronics engineer from Delhi College of Engineering, after which he worked with Texas Intruments In India and the US as a sales manager. He also spent considerable time working for his family business based of New Delhi, and is expremely passionate about entrepreneurship. At Kenan-Flagler, he is pursuing concentrations in strategy and entrepreneurship, and marketing. For his summer internship, Sambhav will be working at Amazon in the Retail Leadership Development Program. He loves travelling, live music and making new friends!

Elisa CooperElisa Cooper Cszizer - VP of Learning and Development

Elisa is originally from Southeast Georgia, but grew up as a Navy brat living in both Italy and Japan. She received her B.B.A. in Marketing from Georgia College and her Master of Marketing Research (MMR) degree from the University of Georgia. She started her career in Marketing and Market Research with Eli Lilly and Company. While at business school, Elisa is focused on General Management and Corporate Strategy within the Healthcare sector. 

Ajit BrarAjit Brar - VP of Case Competitions

Ajit was born into a military family in India and grew up moving from one city to another enabling him to learn four languages. He is a Metallurgical Engineering graduate from College of Engineering, Pune. Before Kenan-Flagler, he progressed from sales engineer to North-Indian business unit leader with a multinational chemical company and led new growth initiatives of his employer and its key automotive clients in North India, Uzbekistan, and the US. At Kenan-Flagler, he is focusing on graduating as a well-rounded business professional. He loves making new friends, quickly adapts to new cultural norms, and enjoys reading, philately, and squash.

Membership Benefits

Since General Management encompasses a wide variety of positions including leadership development programs, functional rotational programs, corporate strategy, business development, project management, human capital management, and human resources, students interested in pursuing careers in any of these areas benefit from the information, resources, and networking opportunities that the General Management Club provides. Member benefits include:

Career Preparation: Mock interview workshops, resume critiques, behavioral interviewing strategy sessions, general management and rotational program internship panel discussions, industry executive panel discussions, industry guest speakers, diversity conference preparation

Targeted Networking Opportunities: Cocktail events with recruiters and alumni networking sessions

Speedy Access to General Management Career Opportunities: Besides early intimation about on-campus and off-campus general management openings through the club’s mailing list, club members can have their resumes included in the club’s resume book that is sent to leading employers who use it to proactively identify internship and full-time candidates.

Case Competitions
: General Management focused case competitions organized by the club allow members to not only hone their general management skills but also practically demonstrate their strategic thinking and collaborative abilities to potential recruiters who serve as judges for these competitions.

Career Treks: These informational visits to companies with prominent corporate strategy or business development groups as well as those with strong rotational leadership programs allow club members to learn about various aspects of general management from key executives and demonstrate their strong interest to these potential recruiters.
