Bobby Speir- President
Bobby is a class of 2015 MBA student concentrating in Real Estate and Corporate Finance. Prior to attending Kenan-Flagler, Bobby spent six years working in real estate development and investment. Most recently, Bobby served as Director of US Real Estate for Krispy Kreme, where he managed new store development and asset management for Krispy Kreme’s domestic portfolio. He began his tenure with Krispy Kreme as a Development Manager, handling site selection, due diligence, and construction management. Prior to Krispy Kreme, Bobby worked as an investment associate and financial analyst for Burroughs & Chapin, Inc., a regional development and investment company headquartered in Myrtle Beach, SC. Bobby graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Trang Phan- VP of Finance
Trang graduated from Berry College (Rome, Georgia) in 2006, concentrating in Finance and Accounting. While at Berry, she volunteered extensively as a Bonner Scholar and was involved with the homeless ministry at school. Upon graduation, I worked as an accountant for Georgia-Pacific and later worked in various financial positions at Habitat for Humanity International. Overall, I have seven years of work experience in budgeting, forecasting, general ledger, and process improvement. When not studying, looking for a job, or networking, I like to swim, spend time with friends, and watch Shark Tanks.
Blake Ervin- VP of Corporate Sponsorship
Blake is a native of North Carolina and proud “Double Tar heel.” Upon graduating from UNC-CH, he worked for three years as a Secondary Language Arts Teacher at a Title I school in Oxford, NC through Teach For America. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication.
David Opoku - VP of Learning & Development
David grew up in Ghana and relocated to US after graduating with a degree in Banking and Finance. He worked in commercial banking in Atlanta for years before switching careers to Nursing. David has a BSN from UMASS Amherst, and worked as an RN before coming to Kenan-Flagler. Outside work and school, David enjoys cooking, soccer, and spreading the word of God.
Christians@Kenan-Flagler facilitates opportunities for fellowship, Bible study, and service. We live to see the glory of God magnified in our lives and the world around us.
