The Corporate Finance Club is committed to providing each of its members with the tools necessary to make informed decisions about corporate finance careers and successfully navigate the corporate finance recruiting process. Club events and initiatives are centered on networking, sharing best practices, financial skill development and corporate engagement to improve students’ recruiting prospects and UNC Kenan-Flagler’s visibility among relevant employers.
Daniel Hughes - President
Daniel graduated from Duke University with a degree in Economics. He then spent six years evaluating real assets investment managers at Cambridge Associates, an investment consultancy serving large institutional and private investors. Daniel is a CFA charterholder..
Nabil Khan- VP of Finance
Nabil came to business school with corporate and investment banking experience having worked with Citibank across Asia Pacific offices. He completed his undergraduate studies from the University of Dhaka and has worked with capital markets, leveraged finance, and liquidity management for institutional clients at Citi. Nabil enjoys choreographing dance performances, has a strong interest in vintage cars, and loves playing soccer and tennis.
Braden Anderson - VP of Communications
After graduating from Brigham Young University, Braden began his career as a dispute resolutions consultant in Los Angeles advising attorneys on the economics of their cases. He later went on to lead union negotiations and manage crew planning at Allegiant Air, a low-cost airline in Las Vegas. In addition, Braden has passed all three levels of the CFA exam, speaks Japanese, and enjoys spending whatever little spare time he has with his wife and four children.
Kenny Falabi - VP of Corporate Sponsorship
Kenny graduated from Michigan State University with a B.sc in Accounting. He then worked as a senior accountant for a global procurement company, where he was responsible for auditing and managing foreign currency transactions. Prior to business school, Kenny worked as an analyst and later a project manager for a real estate development company in Nigeria, with focus on Sub-Sahara Africa. In addition, Kenny enjoys playing soccer and traveling.
Bob Erb - VP of Learning & Development
After graduating from New York University, Bob began his career as a credit analyst at Bank of America in Charlotte. Prior to business school, Bob worked at Ernst & Young in the Transaction Advisory Services practice, where he advised corporations on a variety of M&A, capital structure and restructuring advisory engagements. In addition, Bob speaks Italian and enjoys playing ice hockey with his classmates from UNC Kenan-Flagler.
