Tamara Barringer has over 25 years of experience in estate and tax planning, estate administration, and business and commercial law, serving entrepreneurial business clients.
She is an award-winning teacher in the Master of Accounting Program and the faculty lead for the MAC Mentorship Program.
Professor Barringer’s courses include a required course in leadership, ethics and professionalism, as well classes about contracts and business law, commercial law, corporations and securities regulation, and agency and unincorporated organizations.
She serves in the North Carolina Senate.
She is the former managing partner of the Barringer Law Firm, LLP, which concentrated in estate and tax planning, estate administration and business law.
She received her JD with honors from the UNC School of Law and her BSBA with highest honors from UNC Kenan-Flagler.
