Eligibility

Admission to the Kenan-Flagler Business School is competitive. In keeping with the history of UNC as the nation’s first public University, we pride ourselves on attracting a strong, diverse student body that is both academic and community minded. 

Applicants are encouraged to seek pre-business advising from the General College Division of Social Science Advisors. An applicant who takes advantage of pre-business advising and recruitment events proves most successful in the application process.

  • Minimum 2.0 to apply
  • Current average for admitted students is 3.5

  • You must satisfy University requirements
  • We accept applications from students in good standing after your first year

In addition to the major and minor qualifications, students are required to complete business prerequisites prior to entering the business program.
