On-Campus Admissions Events
Each year the MBA Admissions office hosts on-campus events for prospective full-time MBA students. Most of our events are open to the public, but some of special preview events involve a selection process in order to attend. The specific details for each event are posted on our calendar. In addition, we offer a Campus Visit Program throughout the academic year on select Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
MBA Fairs and Forums
UNC Kenan-Flagler staff travel to cities around the world to meet prospective students at multi-school events. Look for us at Inside the MBA receptions, Forte Forums and The Consortium MAPS (MBA Application Preparation Seminars). Local alumni often join these events as well. Check our Admissions Events calendar above for MBA fairs and forums near you.
UNC Kenan-Flagler Receptions
We offer UNC Kenan-Flagler receptions for prospective students in many cities around the world. These receptions provide the opportunity to learn more about the full-time MBA program and to interact with UNC Kenan-Flagler staff, local alumni and sometimes current students. Be sure to check the Admissions Events calendar above regularly and create an account with us so we can keep you updated by email.
We offer live webinars led by one or more of our Admissions Directors or Career Management Directors. Topics can vary year-to-year. All that is needed to participate is a computer with internet access. Video recordings of these webinars are posted on our Webinar Recordings page after the event.
Hosted in various cities worldwide, our MBA Cafes are informal meetups hosted by current MBA students during a school holiday. Our MBA Ambassadors select a convenient location (such as a coffee shop) and set a two-hour time period for these casual, drop-in chats. You are invited to go meet them, grab a beverage and talk face to face with the students about what makes UNC Kenan-Flagler such a special place. If you are registered with us, we will email you a notification if an MBA Cafe is planned for your area. Check the Admissions Events calendar above frequently for updated events.
Experience Weekend for Admitted Students
All students admitted in Rounds 1-3 will receive a special invitation to our on-campus Experience Weekend, held on campus in early April (please check our Admission Events calendar above for this year's dates). Although invitations are only extended to those with an admission offer, we suggest candidates mark their calendars now to hold the dates should an offer be received. We will also have receptions for admitted students in various global locations.
