On-Campus Admissions Events
Each year the MBA Admissions office hosts on-campus events for prospective MBA students. Some of these preview events, like our Inside Kenan-Flagler: Minority Preview Weekend or our Women's Workshop involve a selection process in order to attend. Others are open to the public, like our Open House and Interview Days. The conditions of each event are posted above with the specific event details. In addition, we offer an interview and visit program throughout the academic year.
MBA Fairs and Forums
Our Admissions Directors travel to cities around the world to participate in multi-school MBA fair events. Some of the events we participate in include: The MBA Tour, World MBA Fairs, Inside the MBA, Forte Forums, Kaplan Road to Business School Events (Note, that our admissions directors may not be at all of the above events. Please see calendar for confirmation of events they will be attending). The format of each type of event varies, but many offer panel discussions of admissions directors and individual school presentations. Our UNC Kenan-Flagler representatives are often joined by local alumni at these events.
UNC Kenan-Flagler Receptions
We offer UNC Kenan-Flagler receptions/information sessions for prospective students in many cities around the world. These receptions provide the opportunity to learn more about the MBA program and to interact with Kenan-Flagler staff, local alumni and sometimes current students.
We offer live webinars led by one or more of our Admissions Directors or Career Management Directors. Topics can vary year-to-year. All that is needed to participate is a computer with internet access. Video recordings of these webinars are posted on our transcripts page after the event.
From October through February, we offer online text-based chats on topics related to admissions, students life, career concentrations and academics. Admissions staff, current students, faculty members and career management staff all help to host these chats. All that is needed to participate is a computer with internet access. Text transcripts of these chats are posted on our transcripts page after the event.
