Host a presentation or information session (learn more)
Events held at the business school have the best turn out. Some companies, especially those who hire across multiple areas, may choose to use another venue for larger groups. Available times are as follows: 12:45 to 1:45 pm, 5:30 to 7:00 pm and 7:30 to 9:00 pm. Request a date in Recruiter Central or contact the CMC.
Hold a meet & greet or office hour appointments (learn more)
A Meet & Greet is an informal gathering where recruiters answer questions during a specific time. This gives students a chance to meet different company representatives and get a feel for the corporate culture. Office hour appointments can be arranged for one-on-one meetings. Signups are usually done through the CMC.
Participate in a career fair or interview forum (learn more)
The CMC hosts several career and company exploration events. We also partner with other top schools to hold interviews in large cities. See the Recruiting Calendar for dates.
Career clubs aid students in career development. The clubs host events such as workshops, company visits, case competitions and mock interviews. Once students know who you are, you can really make an impact by getting more involved. Here are some ways:
Sponsoring a case competition is a great way to meet top students and gauge their potential as a future employee. Contact a club leader to sponsor a competition.
Provide a practicum that benefits you and the students (learn more)
The practicum program allows companies to work with our students to solve a business problem. Managers work with faculty and MBA talent to solve company issues while students gain work experience. Contact the MBA Program Help Desk at 919.962.2395 or for more information.
