Sustainability and Innovation Symposium

This annual symposium, open to the public, tackles some of the serious issues facing societies across the globe.

Renowned speakers examine topics such as poverty, climate change, food crises, increases in energy costs and lack of health care. They share their expertise with a particular focus on the need for entrepreneurial and sustainable approaches to these complex problems.


Water and Energy in the Crosshairs

This symposium brings together local and global experts to explore key issues related to water and energy in an inter-disciplinary and community gathering. The symposium gathers a diverse audience comprised of faculty, students, business and civic leaders, and community members, with the goal of increasing understanding of global issues important to human and ecological peace, health, and well-being. Beyond education, the symposium aims to present possible innovative solutions with examples of best practices. The event will take place on Feb. 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2013.
