Food safety and cold chain experts at the Center for Logistics and Digital Strategy are developing a new online platform to support companies and researchers interested in business development and logistics in China.
The team is using a new cyber-infrastructure, called iRODS (integrated Rule-Oriented Data System), to develop an educational and research platform that can help companies develop business in China and faculty and students to engage in research with their Chinese counterparts.
Users will be able to exploit the global information repositories necessary to monitor complex food-event-related information and turn it into actionable knowledge that maintains situational awareness and a common operating picture of the food chain.
