Orlando R. Kelm is an Associate Professor of Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin where he teaches courses in Portuguese and Spanish, focusing on business language and culture.
Kelm's research centers on the cultural aspects of international business and the pedagogical applications of innovative technologies in language learning, focusing on Latin America and Brazil. He recently co-authored the books “Brazilians Working with Americans” and "When We Are the Foreigners: What Chinese Think About Working With Americans."
Kelm teaches MBA elective courses on the cultural aspects of doing business abroad. He has also led MBA Global Connections trips to South America and China.
