The Real Estate Club provides students with additional career-based and project-based outlets. Together with the Kenan Institute's Center for Real Estate Development, the club sponsors a Speaker Series where leaders in the industry share their insights.
We also provide a workshop that helps students who do not have real estate backgrounds understand the fundamental concepts in real estate development and finance. The workshop serves as a building block for first-year students prior to job interviews or real estate-specific coursework.
The Real Estate Club sponsors two trips during the school year. Students meet with companies from areas including developers, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and real estate investment banks. This exposure provides students with a number of perspectives to aid them in their job searches.
