MBA Reunion 2006 was held October 13 through 15 and was a grand success. Over 300 MBA alumni and their families and friends joined faculty (both current and retired), staff and current students for a wonderful weekend of reconnecting with the School.
On Friday, we kicked off with golf at The Preserve and later in the evening, special class receptions in downtown Chapel Hill at La Residence and Carolina Inn. These events were followed by a great student-sponsored all-alumni party at He’s Not Here. Many alumni also attended “Late Night With Roy” in the Smith Center.
On Saturday, we heard from Dean Steve Jones and a panel discussion on the current MBA program. Everyone enjoyed our Pre-Game Celebration and the UNC-South Florida game (although no win for the Heels). The day was capped off by our fantastic Hawaiian Luau, complete with appearances from Coach Roy Williams and Keith Henderson, a superb Elvis tribute artist.
The weekend ended in grand style with Sunday brunch at the DuBose House.
Thanks to everyone who attended and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s Reunion.
