Mr. Kass is currently an independent consulting, advising C-level and senior management on organizational alignment and business transformation. Prior to his current role, he was an EVP, directing the Corporate Program Office for MF Global Holdings Ltd. MF Global was one of the world’s leading agency-based brokers within exchange-traded derivatives, OTC derivatives and securities in the cash markets. Within his position, he coordinated the firm’s global corporate strategy, M&A and strategic implementation efforts. Mr. Kass joined MF Global in 2008 as part of a management team to revamp the firm’s C-level suite, organizational structure and corporate governance to handle the demands of a publicly traded company. Prior to joining MF Global, Mr. Kass spent the previous 20+ years managing products, operations and technology in the financial sector for ITG, The Bank of New York, Lehman Brothers and Bankers Trust. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for architecting and implementing of corporate governance and large scale re-engineering efforts. Before attending graduate business school, Mr. Kass spent 2 years as an internal auditor, traveling the United States for Georgia Pacific Corporation. Mr. Kass received his B.S. degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1982, and his M.B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986, where he was an inaugural member and still serves on the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School’s Alumni Advisory Council. Mr. Kass resides in New York with Mindy, his wife of 25 years, and his sons Jason, 23, and Bradley, 18. He enjoys bike riding, golf and skiing.
